Quick answers

Common questions before you book.

Do I need a provisional licence first?

Yes. You must hold a valid provisional before taking lessons or a practical test. We can walk you through what to prepare for the GOV.UK application.

Manual or automatic?

Automatic is often faster to learn; manual keeps more car options open after you pass. We’ll help you choose based on your goals.

How many hours will I need?

It varies. Many learners use a 10–20 hour block to start, then top up after a mock. We’ll assess after your first lesson.

Can you help with theory?

Yes — practice structure, hazard perception tips, and timing advice so you’re ready before the practical.
